Appearances and Events

Reading from The Alchemist's Portrait at Fireside Books in Vancouver

I make presentations, conduct workshops and offer Author in Residence programs at schools and libraries across Canada throughout the year. In July and August, I am available to visit summer camps for children in Calgary and the surrounding area. I also conduct workshops in Calgary on a regular basis, notifications of which are posted on my blog and work as an instructor with Chinook Learning Services and the University of Calgary Continuing Education.

Teleclasses take place once a month with the Children's Writers Coaching Club at the National Writing for Children Center. Book signings take place on a regular basis from September to December at bookstores in the city of Calgary and are normally advertised in the local media. Here are a few of my recent appearances at literary festivals, conventions and conferences in Canada, the USA and the UK.
