These online workshops are designed to help you progress as a writer. Through a series of e mail assignments, we explore where ideas come from and how to turn them into stories, basic story structure, plot development, creating characters, developing dialogue and more to help develop writing ability.
Assignments
After a basic introduction, including formatting and requirements for submitting assignments participants are e mailed their first assignment, which will be assessed and returned to them with comments and recommendations. Other assignments will follow via e mail for the duration of the coaching process.

Manuscript Critique
If you do not wish to commit to a series of workshops, I also offer a basic manuscript critique service of the first chapter of a piece of work, double spaced, not to exceed ten pages, plus a synopsis of up to three pages
How it works
You can start a set of workshops at any time. After you register for a workshop, you will receive your assignments via e mail. You complete the assignments at your own pace and send them to me by return e mail. There is no time limit and participants may take as long as they wish to complete their full set of workshops.
