The citizens of the Old Kingdom worry about their future. There are no more tourists and so there are no more jobs. All the young people are moving away to new places. But one day, two young teenagers arrive in the Old Kingdom and things begin to change, with a little help from the Crooked Wand.

Professor Rush has invented many wonderful things, although not all of them have been so successful. He is delighted when he is to receive a special award in the city, but he misses the only train and must use his super shuttle shoes to get to the ceremony. The problem however, is that while the professor knows how to make the shoes move, he does not know how to make them stop!

JLS (Jeongsang Language School) has been providing English language learning programs to young Korean students through a reading based curriculum since 1986.

Students learn English as an additional language through fiction and non-fiction reading materials. Classes have reading tasks followed by extension exercises that help to develop the students’ skills in listening, speaking, and writing.
